Mystic Fish Seller is a 16 min long spoof Comedy movie, a genre which is first of its Kind in Malayalam short film history takes on investigation as its Central theme and narrates the whole through a satirical fashion, revisits various elements/cliches tried in investigative thrillers such as the choose of location, manner of questioning the suspects or witness,the way suspense is unleashed, fearsome image of the protagonist and even the punch lines stuffed for the better appeal of Trailers; without leaving its spoof flavor aside.
Scripted by Antonio Namboodirippad, who already proved his excellence in creation of 'Dinkoism' a satirical take on the existing spiritual trend & formation of gods; and Directed by Lijo Joseph, who already served as a still photographer in the blockbuster movie 7th day; this movie has an ensemble cast & crew of youngsters including Gikku jacob Peter (was Asst Cameraman to Sujith vasudev, 7th Day).
